  P.S. Auto Grinding Ltd was incorporated as a private limited company in 2001.The company was established by the owner and current Managing Director, who has extensive knowledge and experience of the foundry sector, to supply Koyama Automatic Grinding Machines and associated equipment to the foundry industry both in the UK and Europe.

 

  Although the Sales function operates from the main office in Scotland the company has established a network of experienced agents throughout Europe. These agents, who have specific knowledge of the foundry industry in their dedicated geographical area, maintain close contact with existing customers and promote the products to prospective new customers. In addition three of the staff at P.S. Auto Grinding Ltd are fluent in German, Japanese and Swedish languages.

 

  The company has experienced significant development in recent years and, since being founded, has supplied over 200 machines throughout the UK, other European Union countries, Turkey and Russia. In addition to the supply and installation of Koyama Automatic Grinding Machines the company provides the following services;

 

  • Supply of diamond grinding wheels for machine operation.
  • Supply of jigs and fixtures to support castings during  grinding operations.
  • Full 24 hour technical and engineering support.
  • Supply of spare parts.
  • Recoating of worn diamond grinding wheels
  • Training of machine operators.
  • Development of automatic grinding solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Undertakes trials on sample castings supplied by the customer.

 

  The trials are carried out on sample castings to demonstrate the capability of the machine for the specific application. In addition the customer receives information on set up times, cycle times and product quality all of which assist in determining the increased level of productivity that can be realised by converting to a Koyama Automatic Grinding Machine from an existing grinding method.

 

  Trials can be carried out on castings made from irons, bronzes, copper alloys and aluminium weighing up to 150kg
